Five utilities. Zero hassle.
Arrival handles the five standard UK household utilities — electricity, gas, broadband, council tax, and water — from initial registration through to ongoing billing. Here's exactly what we do, and what stays in your hands.
Every utility, explained
What Arrival does on each utility — and what lands with you.
Electricity
We register your electricity supply with a suitable tariff for your property size and usage profile. Smart meter preference noted during setup.
Gas
Gas is typically bundled with electricity through a single dual-fuel supplier — we register both together for simplicity and to save on admin.
Broadband
We check what's available at your address and book the installation. You choose from the available speed options during setup.
Council Tax
Council tax is collected by your local council based on your property's band. Arrival notifies the council of your move-in and sets up payment.
Water
Water supply is fixed to your region — in Greater Manchester that's United Utilities; in West Yorkshire, Yorkshire Water. Arrival registers your occupancy and sets up billing.

About provider selection
Arrival works with the providers available at your specific address and in your area. We don't have exclusive partnerships with any single supplier — your accounts are with the supplier directly, not with us. We're the setup layer, not the billing layer.
